First GAHS varsity win over the Tigers in 29 years. Last GAHS win over Ironton was during the 1984-85 season when current GAHS Coach Gary Harrison was a sophomore, 56-55. The teams did not play each other for 18 years, and when they resumed play in 2004-05, GAHS lost 14 in a row to IHS (including a 59-53 district final game at OU in the 1993-94 campaign.)

Georgetown over Eastern Brown at Eastern Brown (47-40). Much more of a defensive focus for both teams after the high scoring game in Holiday Tournaments. This was a little retribution for Georgetown especially going to Eastern to get a win in their house. Hard fought battle for the G-Men.
