We left the Peebles game at the end of the third quarter because the game wasn't very competitive and the roads were getting bad. The Peebles lead was in the low 20s at that point. I was not really impressed with their performance though. Uncharacteristically mediocre defense leading to way too many wide up 3s for a few of their players, especially Dakota Garrett who put those attempts to good use(had over 20pts after 3). We could have done a better job of keeping Nick Shanks out of the paint also.pfloyd wrote:... looks like we're down to 4 games that have apparently gone into quadruple overtimes since we don't have scores for them :
Millersport @ Miller
Mifflin @ Sheridan
Peebles vs Western Pike
Rock Hill @ Portsmouth Clay
... anyone have a score ? anyone, anyone, anyone? Bueller, Bueller, Bueller?

Paint Valley's Mason McCloy put up 21 pts and 16 Rebs as the Bearcats win streak was snapped by Piketon. Piketon was led by Zach Jordan who scored 29, including 5 3s.
Huntington's Brian Hall drills a 3 at the buzzer to beat Westfall 60-58, keeping the Mustands winless.
Zane Trace's Brian Hall played outstanding, scoring 14 and being a key cog in the ZT comeback. Pierce Mowery had a game high 16. Unioto had great balance again with Nick Overly leading with 13, Nick Corcoran added 11. Cole Cottrill and Alek Adkins each scored 8 pts off the bench. Kyle Strange and Erique Hosley each played excellent D with each being around 6-7 points. Unioto knocked down 11 3s by different players (Corcoran/Overly 3, Cottrill 2, Strange/Adkins/Lovely 1)
Adena upsets Southeastern, effectively ending SE's run at an SVC title. Big W for Coach Smith and the young Warriors! They are the only team in action from the SVC on Tuesday when they go to East Clinton.

Any update on the Ouija board prediction for Athens vs Warren?
Is it working o.k.? We don't have to rely on the magic 8-ball do we? I never trust those things. We need old reliable - the Ouija!
lol
