What happened to the West Thread ?
Re: What happened to the West Thread ?
I think it was a great hire and wish coach Johnson all the best.

the way Im hearing it he will be interviewing and getting the final say. Of course that could always change.

LU is very balanced run/pass. Single back-I formation-spread. I would expect something similar here.Mr. Hoff wrote:Any idea what kind of offense West will be running?
Line will not be overly big the next couple years, so he'll have to be diverse.

What was said to close it out?
When I last looked at it there was just some comments about coaching style and changes. There were some that disagreed with some of the changes and others that thought the changes were good. If they (New West Coaching Staff) think those comments were tough wait until football season. I feel this is just another way to control the program and everything around it. Closing practice shutting out past coaches and fans will be tough to do. These are the people that you would want on your side when things get tough.

The good ol boy network has been smashed in half over there? I have to agree with game day, that last thread was mild. Holy heart failure Batman.
Re: What happened to the West Thread ?
How do you know who is causing these threads to close? I think it's got alot more to do with who was here than who will be if you know what I mean. Every time something is mentioned about how things were in the past the 3 amigo drama queens show up to the rescue. Therein lies the problem. By the way I'm not meaning you. If you've kept up with this site the last year or so you know who I mean.game day wrote:What was said to close it out?

I know the biggest drama queen of social media was end zone warrior. I am hoping this staff is successful as I hoped the last staff was. End zone is GONE. Drama should be with it.

Any idea of when there will be other coaches selected besides the two.

Game day looks to me like they are successful at controlling the program. Silence on here.I have heard they are working hard.game day wrote:What was said to close it out?

Great to hear! Got the right start with the two new coaches, now just need to get some quality volunteers if they didn't scare them all off after last year.

Not sure what that means but Im sure they wont be at a loss for picking coaches. Every one is kissing butt hoping to get picked with the CHOSEN TWO!

Re: What happened to the West Thread ?
The key work was “Qualityâ€. After losing what some thought were very quality coaches from last seasons staff and they aren’t welcomed back this year, I’m guessing that doesn’t leave too many options left there on the Westside.local superstar wrote:Not sure what that means but Im sure they wont be at a loss for picking coaches. Is the head coach bringing anyone with him from LU?
