Standings going into play tonight (1/31)

Valley 16-2 (10-0)
Minford 12-2 (9-1)
Oak Hill 11-5 (6-4)
Wheelersburg 7-5 (5-5)
Waverly 7-8 (4-5)
Northwest 4-11 (2-8)
West 7-9 (2-8)
Webster 4-11 (1-8)

I believe these are correct. Waverly and Webster still have to play a make up from this week as they both have only played 9 league games each. Looks like 2/12 is that one.

Valley will make it a two team race if they defeat South Webster tonight. It looks like the league will come down to February 14th in Lucasville when Minford comes in for the rematch.

Remaining league games:

Valley:

1/31 @ South Webster
2/4 Waverly
2/7 @ Waverly
2/14 Minford

Minford:

1/31 West
2/7 Oak Hill
2/11 @ Oak Hill
2/14 @ Valley

Oak Hill:

1/31 Wheelersburg
2/7 @ Minford
2/11 Minford
2/14 West

Wheelersburg:

1/31 @ Oak Hill
2/1 @ Northwest
2/7 Northwest
2/14 Waverly

Waverly:

1/31 @ Northwest
2/4 @ Valley
2/7 Valley
2/12 South Webster
2/14 Wheelersburg

Northwest:

1/31 Waverly
2/1 Wheelersburg
2/7 @ Wheelersburg
2/14 @ South Webster

West:

1/31 @ MInford
2/7 South Webster
2/14 @ Oak Hill
2/15 @ South Webster

South Webster:

1/31 Valley
2/7 @ West
2/12 @ Waverly
2/14 @ Northwest
2/15 West

I think waverly is 8-8 on the season. Should be interesting with Valley and Minford playing two schools back to back. That could be tricky to some degree depending on the outcome of the first matchup

If they are, then we are missing a league game. They have played 6 non league games already. So, if they have played 16 games, they have 10 league games in and I don't think they have.

West gave Minford everything they could afford tonight. Unfortunately, that zone just proved to be a little too much as far as scoring goes for West. I thought they did a great job of battling Minford all night, unfortunately talent won out. Nice job by Coach Bradford and the boys even though some people say there are no moral victories.

Didn't happen....the Indians pulled away early in the 3rd and did what they had to do

3rd straight title for the Indians.

Minford must win at Oak hill on Tuesday and then beat Valley in Lucasville next Friday to earn a share.

I believe they ended up like this:

Valley 14-0 (20-2)
Minford 12-2 (16-3)
Oak Hill 8-6 (14-7)
Wheelersburg 7-6 (12-7)
Waverly 4-9 (8-13)
Webster 4-9 (9-12)
West 2-12 (9-12)
Northwest 3-10 (6-13)

It looks like maybe Northwest and Webster still have to play and Waverly and Wheelersburg still have a makeup. These records are pre-tournament.

Post each school's JV records. Proud of Minford 's JV with a 12-1 SOC record and a 14-1 overall. 6 freshmen and 1 sophamores did an awesome job.

Valley JV were 14-5 ( 10-3 SOC )
Losses to unioto -first game
Adena -- -dont ask ....real ugly ...lol
waverly - 2x ... They match up real well with us and hit 3's
minford -double OT @ minford ...did not get to make up the home game due to the varsity only makeup for the GOLDEN BALL ...and we will take OUR ball and go home any day of the year for that
