I don't believe any type of artificial turf should be put down on a historical landmark like Tanks Memorial Stadium. It should be some type of law! And no one should be able to play on that field unless it has to do with high school kids playing football/band. Kids are handed everything nowadays at least make them feel like it is an honor to play on a "real" field like Bob Lutz Field.

Back to the "fake grass", not only is this the best the Tank grass has looked in a long, long time (bc it is brand new grass that was sown last year) but do we at Ironton now have to do things that everyone else is doing? I believe this falls into the same category as joining the OVC - BAD IDEA!

Rather than move the scoreboard......how bout we put one of them hang down units under the front of the roof on the home side visible only to the visitors and folks standing on the sidelines.....I will bring that up to the appropriate people in the Tiger Clan and see what they think about the idea..........but before we discuss the scoreboard rumor we need new toilet paper holders and softer Charmin in the ladies restrooms and we can do that after we put a new coat of paint on the walls in the ladies restroom...........
