Clay Over ND 69-61 . Pretty well played game . Very tight within a point or two thru the first two quarters until Clay hit back to back 3's in the last 60 seconds of the first half , inc one 3 right at the buzzer. Turned a 1 point lead into a 36-29 lead at the half . Also ND's leading scorer picked up her third foul in the second Q and had to sit during that time period. Clay comes out strong ( and smart) and pounds the ball inside and KATE REDDING goes off in the second half . We were tentative due to foul trouble and she took full advantage . They bounced the lead out to 11 midway thru 3q , but ND came back strong to cut the lead to 3 . Gilliland had around 18 or 20 , Redding had 16 and 15 rebounds or so. Seemed like Gilliland shot 15 FT by herself and made most of them. Clay had too much size and experience for us tonight .
