Very cool! Glad to hear he is just as good of person as player. Makes it easy to root for him. Sounds like another coaches kid who played for Athens in the early 2000's, Grant Gregory who went on to play at several D1 schools (Indiana and South Florida I believe) and ended his career starting for Kanas State his Senior Year.

I have been told he has had contact from Ohio, Ohio State, Indiana, Notre Dame, Michigan, Nebraska, Tennessee and Alabama. I'm sure there are probably others but these are the bigger ones that I am aware of so far. Joe is a great young man on and off of the field and I wish him nothing but success and health in the future.
