West Union 8th Lady Dragons move to 2-0 with 47-26 win over Eastern Brown and a 39-12 win over Peebles. Next game Wednesday at Fayetville. Girls are moving the ball well and playing excellent defense. First game had two girls in double figures, Pennington with 25, Baldwin with 12 (in foul trouble or could have had 20), vs Peebles, Pennington with 10, Bickett 9, Baldwin 7, Kirker 7, Silvia with 6. An unselfish group.

WU 8th Grade moves 10-0 with a 58-3 win over WO. Before any harping, we played everyone on the team, and slowed it down. WO is in a rebuiliding process and they had no 7th grade team last year, the WO girls played hard till the end.

Those kids have barely played at all coming into this year. They didn't have a team for their grade through grade school.

I know, talked to the coaches and remember from last year. Thought they did play hard and worked to the best of their abilities at this time. They didn't quit that is for sure. You got to start somewhere.
