BEST team in southeastern ohio since 2003?

Granted, they didn't win their region that year. However, look at both teams they lost to in those years. They both won regional championships and by default, Fredricktown in 2010 played Coldwater, who in turn had to play Ursiline and Ridgewood had to play Ursiline in 2009 also. Everybody in D-V at that time was either playing second banana to Coldwater or Ursiline. I would venture to say Coldwater or Ursiline would beat nearly any team in any region those two years. D-V was absolutely LOADED in 2009 and 2010.

Portsmouth West is undefeated against both Ursuline and Ridgewood.

I think it can be argued that some of Ironton's other teams since 2003 could beat Ironton's 2003 team.

That 2001 team sure was tough. If not upset by PHS, that team most definitely would have tangled with Kenton in the title game.

Both them teams were loaded that year! I went to to watch them when they met at the Tank they were both ranked 1 an 2 in the state and ONN was there to cover it for the game of the week,it was about 10 deep all the way around that place and hard to get a view but it was a classic game and the thing I remember most was how the lines were rocketing of the ball, it was a very physical game and worth the trip!

Boy you can say that again Bolt, I was at both of these games that year. The regular season game was a 16-15 Tiger victory that propelled them to 10-0 and the AP state poll championship. PHS went on to finish 9-1 and when these two tangled a second time at the Tank, it was one for the ages. The Trojans jumped out to a hefty lead only to see the tigers storm back late in the game and fall just short. PHS lost in OT the next week to Licking Valley on a missed PAT of all things. The next week LV crushed Akron svsm who had Lebron James as a wr. Then of course in the title game, a Ben Mauk led Kenton Wildcat team dismantled the Panthers for the first of their back to back titles. Really fun period of football!

That was ny favorite Trojan team. the offensive line was incredible, hard working, tough kids that flew off the ball, fantastic defense, great speed, loved that 01 team. Licking Valley knocked em off, a pass interference in OT doomed the Trojans, it was the right call, but without it, I doubt the kid from Newark catches the ball and the Trojans move on.Best high school football game I ever witnessed that night in Lancaster

I consider Amanda to be SE Ohio because of how similar the town is to very many SE Ohio communities, and the fact it's in quadrant IV of the Ohio graph (where US23 is the Y-axis and I-70 is the X-axis), and yes, the ACES I feel were the dynasty of SE Ohio. Blue-collar style and tremendous community support.

2005 Fisher Catholic posted five shut-outs and beat final four participant Centerburg that year. CalPreps had that team beating this year's Trimble team 31-27. The 2004 Fisher team came into Glouster week 11 and shut out that Tomcat offense that was averaging 40 points a game. I'm not suggesting there were the BEST Southeastern Ohio teams, but they were very good squads and hopefully if Fisher returns to that era of dominance we can play Trimble again in the future. My obvious nihilism aside, much respect for the Tomcats and great fans.

I don't think a 2qt. scrimmage with no kickoffs no punting with nothing on the line to play for means much.
Tomcats have a great team. Bulldogs have a great team.

2008 Logan had zero offense. They barely beat an okay 5-5 Zanesville team 16-14. Logan had a great line but no skill. I'd say 2013 Athens would win in a shoot out. Be a good game
