Martins Ferry struggled against a mediocre 5-5 Westfall team and that was on MF's home field. If the Burg plays up to their potential they should move on to the regional title game.

Westfall runs a wide open offense like the burg. They did a pretty good job on the edges against MF. Not so much between tackles. IMO Westfall should have won. MF runs pretty well and mostly out of the pro set. QB is fast but not a passer. Burg has a good chance moving on, but its always tougher the farther you go.

I just hope there is enough seating to accomodate all the Burg fans? I will be upset if I have to stand up to watch my Pirates play in a wk2 play-off game!

Im sure there are many schools who would like to trade you places and stand to watch their team play in week 12.

If burg wants to win need to play McCallister before the 4th qtr. KId is a beast

I agree 100%. This kid should be the featured back in this offense. He is quick and runs very hard. He needs to see the field more and I don't understand why he doesn't.

The Spread,zone read, or Pro set isn't a r/b friendly offense it goes thru the q/b and ya know Eddie isn't going to lose touches nor should he. I agree about the Mcallister kid but just bad timing for him I guess unless he is back next yr when the Burg goes back to more of a traditional offense featuring r/bs.

Wheelersburg will cruise into the Regional Finals. Without their running back, MF can not score enough points to win. MF has some nice athletes but they do not have enough. Only way Wheelersburg loses this game is if MF can bring pressure on every play like Valley. Then hope to keep it to a low scoring game. The winner of this game will have a chance in the finals only because Hartley/LU will beat each other to death.
