Colabella for SCC might be the best QB Trimble has faced since Burrow in their scrimmage vs Athens. A lot of speed for the Crusaders while the Tomcats are the definition of blue collar and great coaching.

Trimble 18-14. The Tomcats have trouble with the PAT. It could come back to haunt them. If not this week then soon.

The Athens Messenger is reporting this game will be a Zanesville.

The Cats are very capable of winning this game, but they need to come out from the start and punch SCC in the mouth. They allowed Beallsville to drive the ball inside the 15 on there first series. If Beallsville would have scored there they would have been feeling very confident and you never know what might have happened. I understand the Cats have a great group of kids and I have never seen them quit or get to rattled, but this is the Playoffs and you better be ready to play on every single down or you might find yourselves watching come week 13. Just my thoughts.

Don't kid yourself the cats bend but don't break... I wonder sometimes if they don't let the other team move the ball a little bit just because they feel bad for what they are about to unleash. A rested Trimble team will be more than ready for whatever weapons SCC has.

The game should be in our favor only driving 39 miles to SCC driving 90

Agree. Come out and play smash mouth from the get go. This isnt the tvc where you already have a feel for the other team. This is the playoffs we dont know a whole lot about any of these teams so dont take it for granted

Go Tomcats!!!!!!!! I am making this road trip from Athens. Poor health kept me from going to G town saturday night , but should be lots of comfy seats at zanesville stadium.

It may only be 39 miles. It just feels like 80. But the Cats are used to curvy roads.

I don't think the kittens will win by much, if at all this week. If they do, it will then be a smack back to reality with the Shady bunch and how much better football is up north than it is in the Jay Vee league Hocking.

This should be a close game that either could win. I rate C.C. with the better schedule and therefore has played better competition to get them ready. Mistakes may well determine who wins this one. Just a hunch, but I'll go with SCC.

Shadyside ... north?

Its south of I70 ... therefor technically southeast Ohio.
