I don't need to rethink that statement ... if a kid or team is scared - then they don't need to step onto the field ... that is all I was referring to.

Gotcha- just a stock statement with open ended intentions so that you could go any way you wanted after the outcome is no longer in doubt. :-D

at least you have 1 senior. Athens has zero on offense.

My son has scarificed in three combat tours in his 10 years in the US ARMY. My son played four years in High School and was well prepaired because of it . MR paldin you should recognize that winning a state title is not the most important thing these kids can do in their lives.

On the game good luck to both teams have a safe game .

FYI

Gallia Academy Jared Golden is the starting FB for the Cincinnati Bearcats .

I believe that is a D-1 school

Good Luck to the Bulldogs !! Bring home the prize !!

I have been very busy for last several days, and just got the chance to check out this post. To be honest I tried to read the comments since my last post. And just can't bring myself to do it. I think I'll just wait till the game and root for the Bulldogs. And I will most assuredly try to just dwell on  wishing the best for the players and fans at Athens. I hope that Trimble comes home a winner as well. WOW, can we say waaaaaay outta hand. Go Dawgs.......(Getting a little easier to say)

Burrow is a big time d1 QB. 6'4, mobile, big arm, and very accurate. Both his brothers played for Nebraska and were 1 team Big-12. One played in the NFL for the Jets. His dad is a College coach, played at Nebraska, played in the NFL on the Packers. Just appreciate we get to watch him play. This kid has done nothing but win at Athens for football and basketball. But I'm sure paladin knows more about college football than the Burrow family lol

I get whiz, so I've seen them play. 93bulldog and I wanted tri valley. Better match up for us

this will be a close game. Track match, Athens wins, around 30 pts, tri valley wins. Doesn't take a rocket scientist to figure it out
First off I'm rooting for Athens and the TVC, But if they get bored this week, they will be breaking out the basketballs next week to keep them entertained, they must stay focused against this group from TV

Good Luck Dawgs!!!!

Yes they will, last week just looked bad. Too many turnovers. I said that until I found out tri valley dominated the line. That worries everyone in Athens. We struggled with the run last week

93bulldog- I apologize for using the word "stupid" in my last post. Not my intent to refer to you in that way. Sorry. I edited it to say "stock" instead, which was more in line of the concept I was trying to get across.

Struggled with the pass too. A weak 8 seed passed for 380. 453 total yards. It looked bad because it was terrible. You're lucky their defense couldn't make a couple stops in the 4th or you would be waiting for next year.

Logan Elm passed for 283 and rushed for 120. 400 yards of total offense. Athens passed for 501 and rushed for 184. Usually when u have 300 more yards than the other team, it isn't close. Turn overs kill.

Raider, Paladin is all knowing, all wise. Of course he knows more about college football, high school football, peewee football, back yard football, video game football, and any other form of football. He has shelves and shelves full of awards, he is Oz.

Just wonder if he will grace Logan with his presence this weekend when Athens comes to town? I bet they police escort him into town and air lift him into the stadium...is the stadium name after him? PalaDome?

Division III, Region 9 - I said before the season did not have any 'weak' teams at or near the top. I still stand by that statement.

The Braves were far from weak, give them a little credit.

Can someone from Athens get me a ticket to tomorrow night's game because I would really like to go and I live in Circleville so I'm not very far from Logan

They don't often send a team to the same venue two weeks in a row. It has happened but it wouldn't be likely. Let's get through this one first then we can worry about that kind of stuff.

Logan Elm was the best team to play the bullpuppies so far this year!
