Ok, just cant see Athens since long trip, almost dbl than Burgs trip. Will be interesting where this game will be. Also, would a site host a game on back to back nights? And does Ohsaa have a list of sites on their website?

Cambridge does not have turf. There are many central Ohio teams remaining, so it will be interesting to see what the state decides. Remember, even though a school may have turf, they may not want to host also. I know the state has ran into that in the past also.

That's a monster drive from Ferry to Chilli!!! I just don't see that happening. I've made that drive before and it's pretty crappy.

I'm with u jesco. I don't see the ohsaa screwing a higher seed that much and sending them somewhere that close to their opponent. Although we are talkin about the ohsaa. They have done that to a team before but never that bad

That would be ideal, burg goes up 23 and ferry comes across 70. The state actually made sense on a site choise.

I just looked at the picture of the site on Google Maps and it looks like a very nice field with plenty of parking. Good choice by the OHSAA.

I watched the Oak Hill vs. Fredericktown regional final here a few years ago. Easy trip right by Scioto downs, great stadium plenty of seating, and no problem getting out to US 23 to come home.

I know I'm a little late, but wanted to say congrats to the Pirates. From all accounts I've heard, at halftime the winner was anyone's guess but the Dragons made too many mistakes in the second half that Burg capitalized on. Good luck the rest of the way!

Classy gesture. Thank you.

He was in the band, and many of the kids found out when they got to the school to load up and go to Burg. Could not have been easy since they had to go pass the scene of the accident on their way to the game. I would imagine that Fairland High is a very sad place to be this week, but I believe the students will rally together to support each other through this difficult time.
