Fort Frye is lead by Stud QB Chandler Lang who comes in with 1107 Passing and 1108 Rushing and 33 TDs - (21 Rushing , 11 Passing 1 Punt Return. He also has 141 tackles. Fort Frye 2 weapon in Mighty Mouse the little guy tailback Colt Shuster. Leading WR is Zach Prittchard (6-1) who is a deep threat with 10 TDs (8 rec 1 rushing 1 KR) Derek Layton is a big fb that takes what's blocked for him. Coach Hucks brother Terran Huck is a good possession WR. The Fort Frye line is very small and has problems blocking the middle. Also the Cadets run defense has struggled big time this yr.

I think Valley wins by 28 or more but I'm not sure it will be as bad as everyone thinks. Valley oy beat 3-7 Portsmouth 28-19 and Peake (2-8) 27-7. Fort Frye offense is good but the run defense could be the straw that makes this a blowout. Last yr the Cadets played one of the best teams in the state in Kirtland losing 42-6

I wouldnt look into those games, Valley played VERY flat against Peake.EasternDspy wrote:I think Valley wins by 28 or more but I'm not sure it will be as bad as everyone thinks. yeah Kirtland lost to Coldwater 10-9 last yr at the D-5 level and now they are in D-6 ranked #1 again so it will probably go thru them to win it all.

There are several. I don't have any stats without looking them up. I would consider the defense their strength. I'm sure someone will be able to post stats soon.EasternDspy wrote:So are Indians players to watch
Not sure if you have seen a game in Lucasville before, but it is difficult to beat our stadium and its accommodations.

Yea that is what a lot of other teams thought too. Valley is as good as advertised. I believe this is the best Valley team fielded in the last 3 years. I think they can make a deep run if they can get passed BReady, and that is a big possibility.EasternDspy wrote:I think Valley wins by 28 or more but I'm not sure it will be as bad as everyone thinks. Valley is big, strong, a lot of team speed and very athletic that pretty much sums them up.

I wouldn't get ahead of myself. Valley will steamroll Fort Frye in a rout but Ready is a whole different animal. You will be underdogs to them. Match-ups will be key. I don't see Valley beating Ready, but you "might" keep it close for awhile. One at a time.

^Won't Valley have to beat the winner of Bellaire and Newark Catholic first? That game won't be any walk in the park either.
