Ironton Football and that Brutal Scedule!!!

Post by jagered »

Irontons football team played a brutal schedule winning only 3 games.
Their opposing teams records are a combined 71 wins with only 29 losses and I only know about Ohio football so not sure who made the playoffs over their but all but 2 [Amanda Clearcreek and Portsmouth*]Ohio teams they played will not make the playoffs. Just food for thought and I really am pulling for them to get it turned around.

Who cares! We didn't do good enough this year. Get back to work and do better next year. Stop with the lame excuses correct the things that need corrected and get better.

that is definitely good but had new ovc been going this year ironton would went 3-3 in ovc with losses coming by cg , fairland , Portsmouth

and for a CG team to beat ironton that is just unheard of in this area LOL

The good news is, that such a tough schedule has Ironton ready for the playoffs.

Thats funny, but thanks though after that loss last night Tigers fans need something to laugh at. Portsmouth yea thats a loss saw it this season, but losses to Grove and Fairland nope.

Tigers could make playoffs next year, but finished either 14th or 15th this year

I disagree Fairland and Coal Grove both had better line play on both sides of the ball. Look at how all three did against Burg.

All 3 got beat by double digits by Burg. Thats just proves Burg is better than all 3.

Big Ironton Fan but this year was really hard to watch!!!!! I had to carry blood pressure medicine to each game with me. Hate to criticize about Tigers, something needs shook up with the program before next season. Just seems like all season we would find something working and go away from it. Hopefully I was not the only one that seen this.

I know Fairland destroyed the powerhouses of Rock Hill, River Valley, Peake, and West, but dont let the record fool you Ironton would beat Fairland.

Burg pulled their starters early agaist Ironton. The other two weren't secure until much later in the game.

I agree Fairland would have beat Itonton and Coal Grove could go either way. It would depend on what weeks they played. South Point would be closer than you think as well.
