Hard to believe scrimmages start next week .

With HS football still going strong hard to image the girls hitting the floor . ND travels to Minford and NW next week. After one week of practice and playing several freshman and sophs this year its going to be tough sledding for ND . only 8 on the roster I believe.

How did the Notre Dame scrimmages go?

Not too bad , Had Minford on Tues and NW on Thurs . I only saw the Minford scrimmage. Minford won most Quarters although ND might have won two quarters . You can tell its really early , both teams looked kinda ragged . Minford has shooters but not much size at all, and they were missing an interior player that night. I was pleasantly surprised ND won a Q and stayed close in general.
ND won the first two Q against NW but got creamed in the 3rd . Again , surprising with the way NW finished the season and how much ND lost to graduation that the scrimmage was somewhat close.
Heard Clay beat West but don't know any details at all. Really difficult to gage these scrimmages ,
