Re: 8th GRADE BASKETBALL
From what I have observed over the past year or two, the stronger 8th grade teams include Jackson, Fairland, and Waverly.
Portsmouth will be solid again this year..
Although I have yet to see them play, Chillicothe also appears to have a strong 8th grade group..
There are a few outstanding 7th graders who could make a handful of 8th grade teams better.

Coal Grove should have very solid 7th and 8th grade teams. Some fantastic athletes on both teams.

It's so refreshing to see Jackson listed...a very rough stretch won't last too many more years. Carroll twins are solid.Moses Guthrie wrote:From what I have observed over the past year or two, the stronger 8th grade teams include Jackson, Fairland, and Waverly.

I've been told Fairland is the team to beat this year in 8th grade. Have they had a scrimmage yet?
Re: 8th GRADE BASKETBALL
OVC previews were tonight, and yes Fairland 8th grade will definitely be the team to beat. Chesapeake and South Point both look solid as well, but I don't know if anybody can touch the Dragons, heck they had a kid dunking in warm ups
