Re: Hocking Hills
Need to come up for the winter hike in January. It is really nice if it is cold. Lots of ice formations. Hike is 5 miles if you continue after the break at Cedar Falls to Ash Cave. Hike starts at Old Mans Cave. You can be bused back to Old Mans From Cedar falls and Ash Cave.

Re: Hocking Hills
been on the winter hike where it snowed about 4 inches as we walked. It has been zero. raining. Mud about 3 inches deep. Seems like it is different every year. If you keep your eyes open you will spot bigfoot. They had his picture a few years ago in the paper.

Re: Hocking Hills
With some calling for a colder winter the hike just might have a lot of ice. Or Snow.

Re: Hocking Hills
Made many a trip here at the caves while growing up in Logan. Used to dive into the pool of water at Old Mans Cave driving the Ranger wild, who tried to catch us, but failed. Fall hikes are beautiful. Winter is scenic. Spring is full of smells from wild flowers . Summers are busy with visitors.

Agree Paladin, any season to take a stroll/hike is a treat and eye candy. Fall is my pick.
