I think Southeastern goes 8-2, but I don't think that would be enough to put them higher than 7th.

Overall this is the weakest region in D6, I would like to see SE make it in. The only bad thing is that none of these teams could stay within 30 of MSML.

Pastuer has Fort Frye like 92 % in if they go 6-4 so I say yea it's weak.

If Newark Catholic gets healthy and hot they could throw a wrench into things.

NC has at least 3 more Ls coming so they will not have a game week 11.

What is the major factor in Shenadoah's big turnaround? I know they lost about three close games last year, but were 4-6. I saw that some people on the PVC thread anticipated their being at the top and now looks like they might be the favorite in every remaining game. Curious as to the big difference between last year and this year.

Shenandoah was very young and in many cases, still are. Now have very experienced players across the board and decent athleticism. Throw in a good work ethic and this is what you get

I do not see anyone this year making a serious run at the state title.

Shenandoah is playing a ton of guys that have started since they were freshman. RB Nick Miller has 11 Tds avg 200 yards a game.

Looks like NY is the team to beat. They have the #1 seed basically locked up

I won’t brag that NY is the best team in the region, but I will brag that NY plays the toughest schedule in their region....and it’s not even close with most teams except maybe Newark Catholic.

Anything can happen come playoff time.
Bucks are worried about week 6 at the moment.

I will agree that Nelsonville York plays 8 games out of 10 against larger schools. There schedule is tough. You mention maybe Newark Catholic playing as tough a schedule and I would agree. Year in and Year out I would put Grandview Hts in there also. Grandview has played and lost to North Union and very close game with Columbus Ready. Grandview still has Columbus Academy, London, Whitehall, Liberty Union and Logan Elm to play.
I have thought for a few years that Newark Catholic and Grandview Hts can play with any team in the Southeast Region in Division 6 whether the schools finish 10-0 or 0-10. I know Newark Catholic has played Nelsonville for a few years know and have been competitive games. I would love for Grandview Hts to drop the 2 Columbus City League Non Conference games and pick up some teams down south like Nelsonville York, Trimble, Paint Valley or Westfall. I know Grandview played a home and home with Minford a few ago.
