Yeah, but i don't think they've faced the current Jackson 8th grade team that is coached by coach Williams.
Did this years 8th grade play Chillicothe last year as 7th graders? If so what was the score?
I know Chillicothe's 7th grade was undefeated last year.

That 36 to 30 score is not indicative of how the game went. The Chilli 7th grade was up by three touchdowns when we pulled our best players in the hope of saving some quarters so they could play in the 8th grade game. Well our number twos would let their number 1's score so we had to put our 1's back in to go up and score again. It went that way for a long time and then Jackson held our 1's and scored again which made it a one touchdown game. Needless to say our 7th graders did not get to play in the 8th grade but maybe one quarter.

And I really don't think who the coach is this year. The Chillicothe 8th grade are really that good plus their coaching is not too bad either. They have a couple of veteran coaches on that team too. Don 't get me wrong Jackson is a good team though.

They pulled one player in the 3rd quarter because he was wrapped with ice because his ribs were hurt.
Jackson came back and got ahead 30 t0 28 and he was in when that touchdown was scored.
He had to return.

He scored all the touchdowns and had an interception return of around 100 yards for a score.

If that is what you meant by pulling players then you are correct.
I believe he scored the only touchdown for the 8th grade in the 4th quarter.

I might be wrong but I think we pulled more kids than the Tailback in the 3rd quarter, we pulled two offensive linemen because they had to play 8th grade, we pulled the fullback/linebacker and two defensive backs. Jackson went nuts on the second team defense and our offense got shut down. Also our head coach likes to play alot of kids especially on defense. Don't get me wrong Jackson did what they had to do to get back into the game and take the lead. We were just trying to save some players so the 8th grade game wouldnt be as bad as we knew it could be. Well that didn't work out too well since Jackson came back and almost won. That taught us a lesson not to pull our kids too early. Give credit to jackson they played really well and had a chance to win.

Let's agree to disagree on our versions.
It ended up a good game.

They are both good football teams.
Hopefully, they might get a chance to face one another in High School at some point if that could be worked out.

You are right. It would be great for Jackson and Chillicothe to play every year. It would be great if the AD's could work it out. I heard that waverly is wanting out of the Jackson contract for week two maybe and that would be great for us. There is no reason these two teams should not be playing every year.
