I don't know a whole bunch about this league compared to others but...

I hear Symmes Valley returns a good amount of talent. Notre Dame graduated some players but they're having a very successful football season and Mader is a good coach, they'll definitely compete. Didn't Western return a lot of talent? Eastern Pike always seems in the mix. Clay returns a good amount. I would imagine the winner will be one of those 5 and the bottom 3 will be Green, East, and New Boston.

I think Symmes,Eastern and my sneak contender Western they return 10-11 players they all played tons last year as sophomores now they 1 some 2 years varsity under there belt. Eastern lost 4 starters but return Thacker a starter last year and Fultz 6th man last year. If they commit to defense they can be a threat for the league and Symmes returns tons as well as Rowe a great player.

I believe that Notre Dame & Eastern should be considered at the top of the pack until proven otherwise. Although both have lost a lot this past year, they are both well coached and I have no doubt that both coaches will have their teams ready to play all season. These two have given us 4 of the best basketball games in the past two seasons. I look for these two to fight it out at for the top spot again this season. But also I can see Western, Clay, or Symmes be a season spoiler kinda of like what happened to ND on the road last season. Still haven't gotten over that loss.. Goodluck to all teams this season, and lets keep the SOC strong!

I think the league is really wide open this year no really dominant team there might be a shared title with as many as 3 teams splitting the crown.

In no particular order other than alphabetical:

Clay
Eastern
Notre Dame

Will battle for the top spots with SV maybe sneaking into the mix, everyone else fighting to stay out of the basement.

Clay is not a top 3 team in the league. They will be better but Eastern,Symmes Valley,Notre Dame are still the top teams Clay and Western will contend for the 4 spot.

Going to be interesting. I think it will be...

1.Notre Dame
2.Symmes Valley
3.Eastern
4.Western
5.Clay
6.Green
7.East
8.New Boston

Hope I am wrong, pulling for the Eagles to win it for 3rd year in a row but going to be tough.Alot of inexperience but have talent and future is bright at Eastern. I believe NDame starts 4 seniors and that is huge. SValley maybe the most talented team in the league but can they finally put it all together? Western has everyone back including top scorers Garrett and Shanks with Brewster inside. Clay has most size and will be a tough matchup. Green will be better Applegate returns, NB and East will fight to stay out of cellar. Should be fun to watch..my guess is champion has 3 losses.

I wouldnt put Western at 4. They belong down with the cellar dwellers. Year 3 and we still have too many mes on this team and not enough wes. This team is loaded with 3 years of varsity experience and play like they are still in JR High. This team should be challenging for the league title this year. Talents there, but teamwork gets left at the gym door. Several players looking at the wrong banner on the wall. No one remembers 1000 pt scorers from crap teams. Love Mike and Larry but its gonna be up to them to instill discipline on this talented team. Or Indian fans are in for another long unsuccessful season. I would rather lose with a bunch if kids that do what their told and play team ball than watch a bunch if selfish players make sure they get theirs. Mirror checks need to be performed ASAP.
