Re: SOC Previews
In the SOC 1 I was impressed with Eastern and Notre Dame. In the SOC 2 I was impressed with Minford and Oak Hill.
With that being said, previews never really gives us that good of an indication as to how the league will shape up. In my many years of attending, I've seen teams win the preview game easily and then struggle to win any games all season, and vise versa. Last night was a perfect representation of that as Valley got beat, yet, they may not lose an SOC 2 game all season.
Best of luck to all SOC 1 and 2 teams! Should be an exciting year in both leagues. Hopefully several SOC schools participate in the district tournament this year!

I know the statement was made SOC2 acrossed the board I said it didn't happen that way last year. Not this year but last. Eastern beat Burg last year by 30. But it didn't happen this year either. Eastern,Notre Dame, and Symmes Valley won.

Re: SOC Previews
Who cares who won or lost?!?! None of the teams play starters throughout and mix things up a bit. I felt bad for some of the kids that acted like they won a state championship after scoring a few more points on teams that clearly were not playing to win but rather working on schemes, team dynamics, etc...
I guess they can be fun to watch and raise a little money but not sure how anything seen on the floor good or bad can be taken all too seriously.
That being said I believe there is a LOT of talent in SOC I and II and we are in for some good basketball this year. Stay injury free fellas!!!
