Nelsonvilles o and d line look rather small. They will have to get pressure on Waverly's QB, I don't see that happening. I think Waverly will own the LOS.ArmChairQB wrote: ↑Mon Sep 18, 2017 8:16 pm NY highltes from last week. The last run makes RV look really bad! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UHKA_e90rPU&sns=em

Yes, both our lines are undersized but they are quick to the ball. Donavon McCollasterP(irate) wrote: ↑Mon Sep 18, 2017 8:54 pmNelsonvilles o and d line look rather small. (Number 70) will reek havoc on Waverlys Oline.Colt Yinger (number 15) plays sideline to sideline from his linebacker position. Colten Snyder (48), while just a freshman is a flat out football player. He will be hard to block.
Brady Jones (7) is quick and strong and has a nose for the ball.
Our DB's do a good job in coverage so that will help our Dline get to the QB.
Championship's are won in the off-season

Nice run down. Just curious how that will play out.Orange and Brown wrote: ↑Mon Sep 18, 2017 9:03 pmYes, both our lines are undersized but they are quick to the ball. For me, it's the penalties that I worry about. We can't afford to put ourselves into long down and distance situations because of holds and other stupid penalties.P(irate) wrote: ↑Mon Sep 18, 2017 9:08 pmNice run down. Both teams can move the ball. Both teams play pretty good defense.
I think this game comes down to blocking and tackling, and special teams.
Whoever can win those 3 phases will win this game.
I think both teams can survive a turnover or 2.

If it's a tight game 1 turnover can be a heart breaker.Orange and Brown wrote: ↑Mon Sep 18, 2017 9:14 pmFor me, it's the penalties that I worry about. Re: Waverly (4-0) @ Nelsonville-York (4-0)
a few of us need to fine something better to do with our time or go fine a team to coach
Re: Waverly (4-0) @ Nelsonville-York (4-0)
I will say this the Wrestlers Colt Yinger 2016 State Runner Up and Ohio University Commit, Donovan McCollister 2016 SQ, Tyler Speelman 2016 6th State, Anthony Koping 2016 District Qualifier, Brian Heller 2016 SQ, Logan Bruce 2016 District Qualifier and Colt Snyder Junior High 7th State have all made a big impact this year. Maybe some of the southern Ohio schools need to add wrestling can only help you would think Waverly would field a great wrestling team.

Sure wish NW was still Div 5 reg 19 so Burg could spank them AGAIN! Waverly wins this one not gonna predict a score havent seen either team play this year But I would put my money on the Tigers but gonna be a good game to watch But the game of the week will be in Jackson where I will be to watch THE BURG!

Just watched the Highlights and #70 will be lined up across from #75 Gunnar Robinson. And trust me he will not reek Havoc.Orange and Brown wrote: ↑Mon Sep 18, 2017 9:03 pmYes, both our lines are undersized but they are quick to the ball. Most of NY linemen play both ways. This gives Waverly an advantage at the LOS as the Tigers use different personnel on both lines. Fatigue will play a factor late in this game for NY

NY will be hard to beat in Buchtel ,so this should be a very good game . Waverly will come over prepared and ready to go . Will give the slight edge to the Tigers.
Re: Waverly (4-0) @ Nelsonville-York (4-0)
Actually, McCollister (70) is the only lineman that plays both ways. The kids an animal. The other lineman (67,53,59,62) on the offensive line are only on offense. 62 gives some d-lineman breaks but it's only for a few plays.Sports-nut wrote: ↑Tue Sep 19, 2017 9:34 am Most of NY linemen play both ways.
