Senior night in Glouster.

Tomcats haven't had to play much since their 16-0 @ Meigs.

Southern does have some speed so I think they get 1 TD against the first teamers. Maybe.

Trimble wins by 4 TD.

Good luck and good health to both teams.

Yet another weak Hocking team for Trimble to embarrass. Now that Wahama is down Trimble will begin their annual cruse through the Hocking on their way to a first round playoff loss each year beginning next season.

A 7-1 team, who is ranked 4th in Division 7, Region 25 ... weak?

Southern will give Trimble much more of a game than NY did I'm afraid ...

I guess we will see. I know that many people love the cinderella story, but this game is at Glouster and I just don't see it being a close game at all. I think Southern will play like they are not supposed to win, like they did against Wahama. Trimble is much better than the score showed against Wahama. Sorry to burst bubbles.

Ground Buck? Don't have tomcat envy just because your buckeyes have had early exits from the playoffs since Meade retired.
I believe the Tomcats are 2-2 in their last 4 first round playoff games. Those two losses both came when the Tomcats were the 8th seed and lost to #1 Symmes Valley in 2011 with a really young team 28-19 in a game that went down to the last few plays. And lost to #1 Shadyside in 2010 36-20 who went on to play in the state final. Won against caldwell in 2008 26-7 and again against Colonel Crawford in 2012 41-6.
2013 is still remain to be seen. The cats will be fine in the future. Football town with great fan support and kids that work hard and love the game of football. Not to mention a head coach who has had a lot of success.

Trimble wins. Southern gets some "playoff" experience before their first ever playoff appearance come week 11 though which will be good for them.

Yea laugh all you want about that post but even you have to realize if this is a close game the hopes of Trimble winning the region are a joke. If they don't blow the likes of Southern out they will win one game in the post season at best.

I am not miserable, but if I was at River Valley as you are, and staring down a league schedule starting next year that has nary a win in it most season, I probably would be miserable. Of course you can keep going to the TVC meetings and beg to be put in the Hocking division where they may be a win a season. But I don't think they are going to let you in.

Hey even though the PE teacher, Coach Boston Sr., is retired from teaching he is still on the coaching staff. He won a few when he was HC, including a state championship. How many Trimble PE teachers ever won a state championship?

That State Championship was over THIRTY YEARS ago! Get over it! The banner in the NY Gym is probably so faded you cant even read it anymore.

I thought you got banned from this site? Glad your back. Since you are back I must ask, how many years old is Trimble's state championship banner? ;-)

Some people are just die hard fans toward there hometown teams and cant stand it when a fellow TVC member is having a great year and has high playoff hopes. Know one is aloud to win except there team. Yes NY has a state championship 33yrs ago and no Trimble doesnt have one yet but they are trying to break that streak this year. So instead of being bitter why dont you try and support your fellow TVC members. Trimble Athens Southern who are in and with some help possibly South Galia and Meigs

I never went to any creator about you or anyone else. So cry up some other tree about that. From what I read on here you are the one bashing, and going onto people's property and messing around. But hey that's your gig pal, no mind to me. So again, I'm glad your back, and I think you should go up to coach Boston Sr. and tell him how old that banner is instead of posting it on here.

If you are talking to me, where did I say I don't support Trimble? And they are playing against Southern, so it's kind of hard to support both at once unless you are one of those who talk out both sides and try to be Mr. Nicey Nice. I am not, so I still say if Trimble doesn't blow Southern out they wont go far in the playoffs. Now come on back and bash NY, and then tell how I am bashing Trimble and Southern. You guys are funny I will give you that.
