you're wasting your time questionmark ... I've tried to explain the numbers ... and that the TVC-Ohio is one of the more balanced leagues in southeast Ohio in terms of enrollment.

They just don't understand it.

Now who was that guy they were trying to convince that the numbers didnt mean a lot. Oh yeah, General Custer!!!

.Vinton County is the Biggest School in the Ohio Division, not Athens.

Questionmark: I support anyone's right to get on here and have their opinion, but if you're going to spout off "facts"..... at least make sure they are right. There's this little thing called the internet which makes it easy to look this stuff up.

with just a quick count in the gym, looks like Athens is at about 41 and counting with volleyball, cross country and football this year. and ALL other schools in the tvc have won 12 combined this is since 2008. Thats pretty even.. With 5 of those 12 being in softball by someone other than athens

Zeb- never said they were facts. The last numbers I had put VC at 333 and Athens at 297. I guess one school was smart enough to appeal their numbers, because Athens def. doesn't have the 297 the state says we have...

I thought Meigs was D3 in basketball and baseball? I'm fairly certain they are in baseball. I'm not sure why Athens fans are so opposed to going back to the SEOAL? It would be much better competition that would better prepare them for the post season. I love the TVC, but Athens playing VC, Alex, Wellston in football is not going to get them more prepared than playing Jackson, Gallia, Warren, Logan, Marietta..I know you play several of those teams on your non-league schedule, but if you had them in your league, you'd be able to schedule a tougher non-league..Ironton, Wheelersburg, etc. Plus with Zanesville and Chillicothe out of the league, the travel wouldn't be nearly as bad.

Baseballstud24- because this is not just about football. A lot of people on here don't know that other sports are played throughout a school year. They craw under their rocks once football ends and miss some great basketball and baseball games within this League. However, if their was a chance to get one SEOAL school team into the current OHIO division, I would love to see Jackson. They have top notch facilities, are not a travel burden and would bring balance to the force
