Once again West talks a big game about Valley and gets whipped! I don't think there is a question that Valley was once again the more physical team. The Valley D makes me think they have the advantage over Burg in week 9. Other than that, Valley is the most physical and athletic team in the league. Would be very surprised to see them lose, although I hope Burg gets them. This thread is very typical of west though, even with the apologize. I went through the old posts and it is great reading. Good luck to both teams the rest of the way!

So now 2 people represent the whole West Side? There were more people from Burg on this thread stiring the pot than from West. Troll elsewhere if you want to talk smack!!!

I don't consider good sportsmanship something you SHOULDNT do. Those of you that think differently or want to put me down for that, you obviously haven't played the game and/or experienced success playing the game.

This Valley team has the best defense I have seen in years. I do believe they will beat Burg and win the SOC. West was outmatched at every position, but especially the line play. And appreciate the comments from Jesco and neutron. Your team has a chance to make a state run.

As I’m sure your aware, the state run in region 21 goes through Columbus...Bishop Ready is a buzz saw, but none the less I would love to see an area team at least get to that point.

Also, it’s been great arguing with you all every week, it sure helps pass the time of the work week, just hope one day we can all lay off the personal crap

I saw someone say they dont want to see West sneak in the playoffs, I disagree. I want to see them get in, especially for the Seniors, thats an extra game!

I watched Ready scrimmage Burg. Ready had their way with them but Miller didnt play.. I believe Valley could play with them I really do.

I didn’t say that I didn’t want them to be in (personally), I just meant they probably would be in a bad mis-matched game. Of course making the playoffs would be great for the seniors, as well as the underclassmen (to show the difference of competition) especially after a season like this year a couple up’s, but mostly downs. Like I said they may slide in at #8, but what lies after that isn’t going to be pretty at all.

This valley team has a chance to really make a run in the playoffs. I hope we get to play ready. Sounds like they had their hands full tonight. I would take valleys defense against anyone. But no need really looking ahead still have minford and burg. That's a tough two weeks on the road.

Well, there isn't much else to say about this one. I guess if I do say anything, it will be stupid and me being full of myself so I will keep it short.

The Indians came out focused and dominated from the opening snap. West had 8 yards at halftime and didn't break 100 until the final series of the game. I loved the focus and the way that valley had a business like approach. There were still some things that west did well and forced the Indians into a few bad situations and valley also shot themselves in the foot a few times with the fumble on the goal line and several dumb penalties. The siders still have a chance at 5-5 and they will get there, but physically valley was just way too much.

It's time to get ready for the Mohawks and get through that one healthy for week 9.

The Indians have now went 5 straight games without allowing a first half point.

I won't rub this one in too much but this should be another thread for the archives in recent history of Valley and West. Valley plays a tough physical brand of football, end of story.
