Now if only Drew Pasteur or Joe Eitel could find time out of their already busy lives to make one of these!

With all the injuries and this being the fifth game following three playoff teams in West Jefferson, Athens and Wheelersburg, and then the long trip last week to Vincent for the 4th game and now this coming Friday a pretty long trip to Chieftain nation for the 5th game and heck the Ironmen tank has got to be on empty. I would say Coach Burke should just give Logan the week off lol given what Jackson has faced.

Moonshine can you let them know to just take this week off lol?

Look for several of Jackson players to be back by FrIday and with the play of the boys that stepped up jackson should have a big rotation of players.

They need to keep that rotation plus anyone that will be cleared to play...it worked well and the competition for positions and time is a good thing, and will turn into winning more games.

Lets go Ironmen.

Three in a row.

That's what you call a winning streak. Logan has had one of those in a while - not since winning 11-straight in 2009 to be exact.

Friday night is an opportunity for the Chieftains to grab control of their own destiny in the SEOAL title race. How will Logan respond to success? It's a fair question. They haven't had the opportunity recently.

Jackson and Logan have each faced good football teams in the non-conference slate. West Jeff, Athens, and Wheelersburg could all be regional finalists, but Loudonville could do the same and Lancaster despite their record might beat every team mentioned so far.

If Logan can continue to prepare to win, can continue to improve each week like the have so far this season, then they have a great chance to compete with and even beat Jackson on Friday.

Lancaster is considerably bad this year.

The lights came on for Jackson Friday night after the injury to Rafferty on the second play of game. Coach Hall tore in team about doing their jobs and they responded with 425 yard on the ground and a hard hitting defense. The line got their blocks went down field backs blocked and ran hard recievers got down field blocks and defense seem to have multiply guy hitting ball carrier. This was great team win and some outstanding effort by whole team and the Freshman Roseberry had some tackles along with Potter and cooper had three qb sacks and Farley with two td"s it was really funny to watch. Look out chiefs Warren may have awakened a monster.

Yes they are. But they would still beat most of SE Ohio.

Athens and probably Wheelersburg would beat Lancaster. Chillicothe probably could as well.

That's about it.

Jackson did struggle against some really good teams but coachs put in some new parts Friday night and the red and white machine fired up so look out Chiefs. The Jackson Ironmen are coming to town.

Jackson is playing 4 Freshmen and many Sophmores and Juniors. The vast majority of this team is coming back and they're all football players and will have Alota of valuable experience .Plus another off season of growth and training .Yes we had a rough 3 game stretch but my goodness we were big underdogs in those games. Obviously the goal is 7-3 SEOAL title and maybe and 8th seed in the playoffs. But say we go 6-4 . It still doesn't change the fact that wed be favored in at least 8 games next year with Athens off the schedule. The only games Jackson may be the underdog in is West Jeff and Burg. Plus there is no more classes coming with that few seniors playing football. It's hard to win without seniors period ! Jackson is strong all the way down to 6th grade. I don't think change is what this program needs. Whatever we win this year is a bonus and then look out. Just my opinion but my opinion ain't worth much !

Jackson is really young and with some changes made last Friday our defense was way tougher and our run game stepped up. We will have to improve on throwing the ball to keep people from loading up the box on us. Maybe try to get the ball to Williams or Crabtree out wide when he's not in back field. I do agree change is bad for the program and with some thinking outside the box with players and 7-3 is very possible for this team.

Holding Warren to 58 yards rushing was a statement. Need to lock down on opponents receivers and when we figure that out and we will...look out.

Work on some quick throws to wideouts and TE crosses or seams and help the run game even more.

Neither team is likely to throw the ball very much on Friday.

This game will come down to which team can put the clamps on the opposite running game.

I think Jackson will find that Logan's a little better running the football than Warren, but Logan will find that Jackson's defense is much better than Portsmouth or Nelsonville-York.
