I don't remember ny ever going for.2 or onside kick when up big. I doubt that happened. When was that? They can run up the score all they want. We won't be down long boys. Losing seasons may happen elsewhere but not at ny. Enjoy it while you can boys.

So your saying NY will win their last 4 this year NY92. They have to win 3 of 4 to go .500. They are in very grave danger of having a losing season.
The tomcats hope they win because we need the computer points.

No this may be a losing season. What I meant was it isn't the norm at ny and won't last long so everybody enjoy it now.

Here is my nickles worth...
We didn't block well
We didn't tackle well
We didn't run well
We didn't pass well
We were out coached and we were outplayed.

I hate be seem so negative but at this point in the season it is what it is.

I hope the kids continue to work hard and improve each week.

My hats off to Meigs! They are a very good young team. Coach Bartrum has the program rolling in the right direction. Now that they are winning all the haters of him and his approach are long gone!

You want class, just look at the scores over the past years, remember back when you ny kicked field goals instead of taking a knee, not running the score up, come on, last year when ny hac a football player tell meigs kids that they didn't belong on there field, to get the f--- of there field, plus telling a meigs coach the same thing, with ny coaches right there, now that is class, top notch, would make me proud to be a ny fan, NOT, you all can't admit that meigs was the better team this year, a little bit of pay back for all the pass years of butt kicking you gave us, take it with pride and move on but no , nobody is aloud to say anything about ny, well I did and I will.

Meigs went 3for 4 against ny, the only team to loss was the 8th grade, I think that's a start of something good, jv won Monday 43-8, 7th grade won 36-6, and 8 th grade got beat by 30, but a good week for meigs football

Yes and our best freshmen and sophs are playing varsity. So in two years when those 8th graders that thumped you are sophs, the freshmen and sophs will be 3 and 4 year starters. So I would not bank on that something good you mentioned.

we will see, you are not the only team playing freshman and sophomore on your varisity, most of our jv are freshman, so I can say that, only 7 seniors, sounds pretty good to me, for down the road

Are you also going to have those refs you had last Friday for all the games, "down the road?" Cause that is what that one Nelsonville fan keeps crying about.

What about last year when NY was up 40-0 and Meigs was punting from its OWN 4 YARD LINE and Boston brought the house and blocked it. Meigs doesn't have a decent extra point game, although getting better. So just remember when you are talking about NY is going to give payback that you guys beat us 54-8 and then we beat you 47-6. Sounds like its even between Boston and Bartrum to me

The game is 4 quarters. As far as I'm concerned you play the game the same all 4 quarters. I rarely would encourage pulling starters too early. I prefer to mix in some young players when you get a lead or 2 platoon and only play guys on one side of the ball, especially if you know you probably are going to win by a lot. It makes me frustrated when people complain about the score of a game or say "they brought the house", etc. From the NY side all I have to say is stop complaining about the score, it's not a place NY is used to so naturally the initial response after that butt whoopin' is going to be negative. Bucks will pick themselves up by the boot straps and get back at it after this reality check. But if you're an NY supporter, no excuses... 350+ days until we play again next year! Go Bucks!
