I don't know about that ... but it might be a pretty good game.

They have a common opponent.

Trimble - 16
Meigs - 0

Trimble - 12
Wahama - 7

I was at both of those games. In the Meigs game the officiating was horrendous, and the score should have been much worse.

Its not just Kane Roush ... the White Falcons front wall is enormous ... those boys up front for Wahama don't get enough credit ... the Wing T is not a simple scheme for offensive linemen to execute - but they do it perfectly.

It will be interesting to see how the Southern defense handles it ... I wish I could make it down their to watch some of this game.

Granted, the only game I saw was the game against Trimble and Eastern. But I have my doubts about Wahamas passing game. It seemed like the only time they throw the ball is when they split Roush out. If southern can play tough against the run I think they have a shot. Wahamas defense is the real deal though. Southern will have to throw everything but the kitchen sink out tree to even come close to the end zone

Yes even Trimble struggled other than the opening drive against Wahama's defense. Their other score came on a short field. So Southern will have to do something special to get to the end zone unless it is a blowout, cause Wahama will put the subs in on defense when they get way up.

Fantastic 50 does not make a pick for out of state schools. So Fantastic 50 has southern losing to Trimble by 22. And there is no pick for the Wahama game. So that is why they have them going 9-1.
Either way if they go 10-0, 9-1, or 8-2 they are a lock to make the playoffs for the first time in school history. So no matter what happens in the Wahama game or Trimble game they are doing something special and will set the bar for future teams in Racine.

This should be a great atmosphere Friday night in Racine and finally this will happen on the football field and not just in the gym or baseball field for the tornadoes.

Southern has the skill position players and the tenacity to really get after Wahama. This will be Southerns first game that the other team actually pushed back

Southern's success this year on the football field is not only great for them but it is great for Trimble as well. This gives Trimble a chance to pick up some points late in the season for a change. I would think the guy from SV would want Southern to beat Wahama for this would only make his team look better. I guess some people don't see the big picture. I hope Southern does well by doing so it makes the TVC better and the other teams in it.

They went 5-5 in 2009 but only winning record I can recall ever is in 2006 when they went 6-4

Symmes Valley is not a good team this year. Traditionally yes, this year not so much.

Yea Symmes is a little down but still a decent team but anyway you look at it Southern is 5-0 the kids can't help who they play they just have to go out and play and let the chips fall I mean the TVC hocking isn't the best conference we all know that next to Trimble and Wahama their isn't much but Southern on the other hand is playing very good football and sitting at 5-0 you can't help but be glad for those kids and the school I do look for Wahama to win the game but then again who knows that's why we play game

Back in our day, Coach Wolfe wouldnt let Cousin H and the boys even think of playing football. We just got our big ears haircuts and ran suicides if we missed a free throw and we almost won the whole dang state. The boys down at Toms Butcher Shop think this may be the year we become a football school.
