Believe it or not Monroe Central is in the hunt for playoffs and could win out. This 'W' will get the Seminoles up the ladder and close to top 8.
I see too much of Nixon, Brown, Jorris, and Fort Frye won't be able to cover all of them.
And, most importantly, when was last time Coach Jay lost to same PVC foe 2 years ina row?

I think hype is well deserved they have won 10 straight reg season games give respect when it's due. That being said still think Cadets are the underdog.

Nixon is back and he is very good and Fort Frye lost some good players. I will be shocked if it's not a well played game.

I'm not sure this years team is better than last years...losses to UL and Shadyside...wins over River and Caldwell(combined records 2-6)
Just can't figure this group out. I sure hope to see a solid all around game Friday night and give me some answers to how good this team can be.

MC had Shadyside's back against the wall in the second half and nearly tied it up after being down 3 scores. And no excuses for the UL game, UL has won 3 of 4 but in all honesty MC is a better team and just didnt show up.

The second half of the Shadyside game until now MC has played sound football. If they play tonight like they have since then it will be all Noles.

A couple people have alluded to this, but I think it has to be said outright that a Seminole victory would be back to PVC business as usual, but a Cadet victory would be monumental.

Everyone respects Monroe Central and it's well earned. They just don't seem to want respect anyone else. Fort Frye has a way better coach and offense then Caldwell.

I would say the Noles do respect each and every opponent on their schedule. And, as MC Noles Sports fan said, " Some fans do." Want respect from me EasternDspy, Come and see me after an eight year victory span. To put it in your terms, It ain't gonna happen.

I give the players and coach's of the Cadets all do respect. I may have even played against your coach years ago, not sure. You, I have no respect at all . Did you ever play a down in football, or were you just a statistician?

I guess that I have a little different spin on this whole "respect" thing. People toss this word around like it is a label. Well, it isn't. Respect is something that is "earned" over time, not for an anomaly, one time occurrence, or occasional flash in the pan. That being said, I don't look at other's point of view at a football program and base it on respect. I base it more on fear. If you are afraid to play your opponent, well, then you most certainly respect them. If you don't fear them, that doesn't necessarily mean that you don't respect them.

You respect them for their hard work, sacrifice, and willingness to go out there and play the game hard, and clean. That is where "respect" comes into the equation.

I can tell you one thing. The kids from Woodsfield do not fear the kids from Frontier, based on what, a series record of like 44-1. But they, and the coaching staff, respect those kids from northern Washington county year in and year out, for getting out there, working hard, playing hard, and making the sacrifice to be a part of the best sport in this country.

Dspy - I call you out when you are going overboard with the hyperbole, but I respect your knowledge and passion for the kids, and your undying support for all of the FF sports programs.

So, let's leave the "lack of respect talk" out of any more discussions about this game tonight. I've seen no disrespect in this thread. Good luck to both teams tonight.
