Gallia Academy should dominate this game and come away with win #3.

Marietta comes in at 1-2.... Beat and 0-3 Morgan first game and then lost to Warren & Williamson, W.Va.... Looking at their schedule I can see one more victory when they play a D-7 Roscrans.... Gallia should be able to control the game early and score often... Should be over by halftime with the JV,s playing the second half...

i think gallia academy Defense much better then it is given credit for, also very young and getting better each week. i also would not sleep on Marietta this feels like a little bit of a trap game to me. Last home game before 3 on the road against a team they historically handle pretty easy. Plus Marietta size will give gallia a little trouble. i think we will know a lot more about Gallia after the 3 road games. Gallia Defense only gave up 33 points to Athens through almost 3 quarters and a lot more went into that then just football related events.

We are struggling against speed. Both Athens and Fairland had fast players and our boys didn't go all out against to contain and they made us pay. We blitzed a few times and let backs out of the backfield make plays that we couldn't recover from. Our D needs to get more physical, and attack the ball with more "attitude" than we have.

I think we will be ok this week, but we have to play up to our potential. expecting at least 20 point dif .

Hey 91.... Why ya smiling ??? Could it be your not convinced we are playing another competitive opponent? Back in the day we would run off some lopsided wins and feel pretty good about ourselves.... Then the Ironton game would bust our bubble and I believe make us a better team.... Hey 91 do you see an Ironton type game on our schedule??? I don't.... next real game could be Logan or Jackson..... LOL.....

just smiling superblue ranked 15th in the region not too many challenges left. I can remember when the blue took pride in playing some defense :122245

Taking GA in this one. They may not have a great defense but they can score.

I Think Gallia wins this game pretty easily. Marietta probably should be 2-1 instead of 1-2 at this point. In williamstown game they turned the ball over after long drives inside williamstown 25 yard line twice. and gave it over on downs twice more down there. All other statistics about even. With that said i saw nothing to make me believe Marietta can stop gallia's offense. the only thing stopping Gallia from scoring 50 this week will be themselves. With that said. I get the feeling we might pound out the run game this week and that might keep are total down. Marietta should score 2 touchdowns or less against starters.

I see one called Belfry KY. I understand Ky. football is not like ohio football but this may be best team on our schedule..... no disrespect intended to Athens. we can talk more about them after we get through with Marietta and vinton county. As far as us being 15th in Region we are about where we were at after 3 weeks last year. if we take care of business on our end we will be playing in week 11.

This region was very weak last year overall. Look at the regular season games and you'll see that being at home in week 11 was a fluke. I'm just saying you can't base where you're at this year rank wise to last year. If the game was not at Gallia I'd say Marietta would be in this one but Gallia wins at home.
