Re: Wk3 Berne Union @ Nelsonville-York
My nickles worth..........
Big win by the Bucks.
We moved the ball well, the Oline looked a lot better.
The Defense looked like they still need a lot of work. Kids were playing out of position and at times looked confused. They still aren't wrapping up when tackling.
Alex mount had an amazing night, Noah Andrews looked great. Next week I look to see a lot of improvement.

Alex mount had a hell of game and put up some big numbers last night But why is it the O line never gets the credit or glory for opening the holes and blocking It's like all the glory goes to the tailback or fullback and never any glory to the front line...The O line last night played there hearts out and I for one am very proud that they have improved upfront a lot but wow are defensive line needs HELP!!! I hope Davie makes some changes or works a lot more on the defense this week or maybe take some of the O linemen and make them help out on Defense...idk what to say but we don't wrap well when tackling and its like are defensive backs have to come all the way up to make tackles and we cant allow that to happen....But I'm not the coach. I just been going off of what I have been seeing...But I am very proud of the win for are Buckeyes they have done a lot better in the last two weeks!!

BU is bad, NY will get better next week as well as RV is just as bad. But the O-Line really got the job done last night.

Once again - The D - line is playing just fine. It's the secondary that needs some major improving. Maybe they should play Andrews and Mount on third and long. I bet Athens can't wait to run their version of the read option against NY's DBs.buckeye_master wrote:Alex mount had a hell of game and put up some big numbers last night But why is it the O line never gets the credit or glory for opening the holes and blocking It's like all the glory goes to the tailback or fullback and never any glory to the front line...The O line last night played there hearts out and I for one am very proud that they have improved upfront a lot but wow are defensive line needs HELP!!! I agree and your right you know dang well Athens will and im sure there waiting on it...I would just like to see the defense become a lot better and they are so with that said maybe Davie can find some boys to stop those long pass plays people are putting on us in the secondary because we get burnt there a lot!!nybucks70-80 wrote:Once again - The D - line is playing just fine. Tried to tell the haters that #1 best back in the area. Great job Bucks! Well on the way to at least 7 wins this year. Get another one this week, and RV look out the Mount train is a rollin through.

I haven't heard anyone talk bad about him.Ground Buck wrote:Tried to tell the haters that #1 best back in the area. Great job Bucks! Well on the way to at least 7 wins this year. Get another one this week, and RV look out the Mount train is a rollin through.
Everyone has had nothing but good things to say about Mount.
Re: Nelsonville-York 44 Berne Union 21
In time the young man will be good but BU and RV and even Logan are very poor teams to judge his future success! Remember he is only a freshman and a lot of thing can happen!
