They return basically all their skill players. It amazes me how a 2 time defending soc champion 2 time regional finals appearances 22 game win streak team gets basically no respect. By the end of the year I think this will be the best team valley has had in its run. They are more balanced than in the past. They are so deep are 3rd string rb even came in and had 3 tds last week. They just simply wear the other team down. This game might be close through 3 but valley will put it away in the 4th.

Offensive line :
Dunn sr , Spradlin so , Bradley sr , Wolford so , Miller sr, Miller sr . They have done well for plugging 2 sophomores in and they have gotten it done late in the games as well . Valley will have to limit the turnovers on offense and catch the ball against another physical defense and be just as physical on defense as we have been , coach has been running several strong physical players in and out on the D line and its working ( cliche ) one game at a time . Until CG proves they can win these kinds of important games, I can't pick them. It should be a great game and I can't wait to take it in. Good luck, Hornets.

Someone described CG as the best 0-2 team around....does that mean they will be the best 0-3 team around as well?

If Valley comes out ready to play and takes care of the football, then yes they will be.

You make it sound like he came in at the end of the game. He scored the first 3 rushing TD's, Which were 3 more than your starting RB. and he was the only RB to score until the last score of the game which was with 58 secs left in the game. Sounds more like a starting RB to me, especially since he is the 2nd fastest guy on your team.

I'm gonna update this thread with scoring tonight, the traditional update thread requires too many confirmations when others post, etc.

Go Hornets! Let's hope for an injury-free game on both sides
