LU may have some good players back, but I went to that Burg playoff game and LU did well with the sweep/jet whatever. I think West can play with them if they make their reads and don't get out of position. Strong De play and a good passing Offense will make this close. I know west will try to setup the pass with the running game so Bricker needs to run hard, the line needs to keep on their blocks. Then go for it! Eddie Miller had his worst game of the season in that playoff game last year. His touch was gone, way to nervous. West has a chance to win this game if they stay calm no matter what, and keep grinding!!!. Good luck Men!!

West needs some help on offense....Irwin is running around for his life. I know 1st hand what that is like and it’s not fun. My advice to both QB’s, just hang in there and do what you can, hopefully change will be coming soon! Keep your heads up West, this is just a little bump in the road. Like I said before....on to next week!

great job team you guys played tough tonight. They defense for liberty was tough but their offense will not forget the westside.Bet that team hadn't been hit that hard for a while an prolly rest of year.

Endzone its obvious we don't have a balanced offense. be honest I think we was doing it to try to put some points on board. maybe fool them. You have to admit that defense was tough. hell they could've only scored 1 td an beat us. they played hard an put some good wood on them,actually their qb broke around corner than quit running when a west player come at him. lol like I said they got hit they wont forget.

I wasn't all that impressed with LU! They were pretty good but not as advertised!! I thought we had our oppurtunities in the game in 1st half! I agree ws17 that they didn't like getting hit hard,& that's one thing a west team will do to you! We just made some mistakes we couldn't overcome! But a fri.night at a west football game is always a goodtime no matter what!

QB's when possible tend to not like getting hit, and it's not worth the extra yard to get hit when you can simply go out of bounds.

"I was not impressed with LU!" - I'm sure they came out with the mindset that they needed to impress an adult on a sports forum site. Fact is, LU is probably the best team West faces this year.

I agree FC. West was outmatched in waay to many positions. The Qb for LC was impressive.#20 and #19 were too and quite a few others. Thy will definitely be the best team West faces all year. West offense needs to get three times better quick. That translates to changes and very very very hard teamwork. Some bright spots for West and great opportunities to challenge in this game came down to careless mistakes.

West played them tough and that's all you can really expect at this point.
Yes, they were over matched, but most of us knew that months ago.
It was good to see the West kids come out and compete (nobody has ever questioned their heart), but the defensive backfield and offense are in dire straights and we all know where that starts.
