Ross Co. Teams to Watch For
Unioto, ZT, Hunt seem to be the teams that bring back the most. Very good pitcher coming in for PV and SE. Should be a fun year. Don't know about Chillicothe. I know they lost Bouillon and a lot of good seniors so I'd say they'll struggle a little with pitching. Anyone know anything else to add?
Re: Ross Co. Teams to Watch For
Chillicothe lost starting pitcher, left fielder and center fielder. Pitching should be covered with in-coming freshman. Leaves two outfield spots. If all of the starters return, and depending on the decisions that are made, Chillicothe should be quite competitive.

Huntington and Zane Trace should continue their climb to being #1 in the SVC. It's hard to believe that Geno and Lytle are only juniors! Unioto not only lost seniors, but their leader with the class that just graduated. From what we can tell Unioto doesn't have a strong freshman class coming in either. Chillicothe plays Unioto this year. Could very well be an even game.

The U's Freshman class may not be as deep as the past four years of freshman classes at the U but make no mistake there is some quality in that grade.
They were not expected to do well last year in the jr. High ross county league but finished with the 2nd best record in the league and 2nd in the tournament as well.
Of course that team had as many 6th graders starting as 8th graders with the bulk of the roster being filled by 7th graders.
Freshman to look for at the U this year:
Ashton Junk will be pushing hard for one of the three starting position left open by the departing senior class.
Morgan Popp has the speed and ability to make an impact at the varsity level as well.
A few others could/should come out.
