Wheelersburg 39 Coal Grove 20
Re: Week 2: coal grove (0-1) at wheelersburg (1-0)
The shock and awe will come in the form of Burg's offensive display. This talk about upset and all will be put to rest midway through the 1st, maybe. :122245

I'm not sure I would want miller running, best runner the burg has.BB #26 wrote:I agree with "Youthsportsfan". I'm not sure you can stop their passing game. Bump receivers, stay wide at the ends & force the QB to scrabble up the middle. It might slow them down but won't stop them. Then again .... That may not slow them down. Their receivers catch anything close to them. Best of luck to both teams!!!

Tonight will be a GREEN OUT to honor a special young man who lost his battle with a brain tumor this week.
Boston Schwamberger
Boston Ryan Schwamberger, 4, of Wheelersburg, went to be with the Lord Wednesday morning September 4, 2013, at his home with his family by his side.
He was born July 22, 2009, in Portsmouth to Joseph and Ashley Bennett Schwamberger. Boston attended pre-school at Notre Dame Elementary, was a member of Holy Redeemer Catholic Church, an avid Ohio State Buckeye fan, and loved John Deere.

Re: Week 2: coal grove (0-1) at wheelersburg (1-0)
Quick question. What happens if, and I mean if, Coal Grove beats Wheelersburg? I would love to see it just because of a possible match up later in the playoffs with huge crowd and basically like old times. just a thought.
Re: Week 2: coal grove (0-1) at wheelersburg (1-0)
Don't look for that to happen as Burg is in Division V and Grove is in Division VI

The odds are less than us hitting the powerball because these teams are in different divisions.cg-ironton fan wrote:vols2289 wrote:Quick question. Question: Was e. miller's 42 yd touchdown run on the opening drive a run up the middle or outside?

Right up the middle designed spread run.
