Fairland 41 West 29
Fairland 41 West 29
Well lets get the talking going on this game. Fairland whip West bad last year!!!
Re: Week 1 Fairland @ West
West needs to win the battle at the line of scrimmage first and for most. The secondary limits any big plays and we will be in good shape.

Re: Week 1 Fairland @ West
Well with Minford putting a whoopin on the Dragons in the scrimmage, seems things are different @ Fairland this year. Look for something different out of West this year also. IMO West turns things around after a tough year and wins this one at Home.

Re: Week 1 Fairland @ West
After watching Fairland last night, they throw the ball well. Not sure how they will match up with West up front but I would have to give West a big advantage. If West can defend the pass I think they will win this one by a couple scores.

I do like West's new look on defense it should help against the passing game.

Hope west plays Fairland at least as good as my Falcons did, but we will see, no pick by me cause is will be too close. Still wanting SOC of course.
Re: Week 1 Fairland @ West
I don't think it will be close. West is capable of putting up big score against Fairland. West defense must be on their toes every play!

Re: Week 1 Fairland @ West
Looking at Fairlands roster they are deffently a lot bigger up front than we are but I liked what I seen from the dline against Ironton. If we limit the mistakes and play good football I think we win by a fews scores. But I thought that last year also.

Re: Week 1 Fairland @ West
Hopefully Maddox has a good game for Fairland. He didn't play last year and missed the scrimmages this year, but I seem to remember some long touchdown runs by him against West when he was only a sophomore. Hopefully running behind a big line will help. Fairland by 3.
Re: Week 1 Fairland @ West
This is usually a good game. Fairland's offense usually gives us fits but our new defensive alignment should help us defend the spread better. Fairland looked overmatched against the size and physicality of minford but it was just a scrimmage. Everybody seems to have different opinions on how our season will go so I guess we'll find out tonight. I just hope only having one scrimmage doesn't bite us in the keister.
Re: Week 1 Fairland @ West
Fairland hasn't beaten West in years with the exception of last year. Don't think this team will resemble anything like last years West squad. West win.Good Luck West!
Re: Week 1 Fairland @ West
The attitude of this team seems a lot better. And that goes a long way. Last year's team didn't jell together. Couple seniors were worried more about where they played and how many carries they got than how many games they won. This group is different. Their a tough bunch like West teams from the past that like to hit. Not real big but will fly around like some of the late 80's teams.
