St. Joseph loses in the District finals to West Muskingum 7-0. WM is a very good team and dominated from start to finish.
I would like to congratulate Coach Weatherholt and Coach Saxby and the girls on a fine season. A12-3-1 record, Sectional champs and District runner up is great for a first year program.

Best of luck in the finals and close it out! Back during softball season we were leading 3-1 with 5 outs left in the regional finals, but didn't close it out.....our opponent went on to win the state championship. NOT a good feeling!

We plan on having a full JV schedule next season with the large 8th grade class coming in. As for next year and having 26 coming back, I am going to stay positive and count on all of them being back. They get along as well, if not better than any group we have had go through the program. This year's success has only made them hungrier for more.

Yeah....I meant nothing about them not all returning or getting along.....just once you get about 2 games into the tournament nothing is guaranteed...might catch a team that was under seeded and on fire. The regional finals is huge, best of luck!
