The difference in Ridgewood losing to SV instead of Newcomberstown is minimal. So, that number would be about the same. If they lose a game, they won't finish ahead of an 8-2 Oak Hill.

If FF loses to Caldwell, they would be out. They would be behind a 6-4 Academy, 8-2 Oak Hill, and a 6-4 Ridgewood.

Fort Frye will have to lean on Chandler Lang and his 25 TDs to upset Caldwell.

I look for it to finish like this:

1. Ready
2. Valley
3. Centerburg
4. Newark Catholic or Bellaire
5. Bellaire or Newark Catholic
6. Monroe Central
7. Columbus Academy
8. Oak Hill

Making the match-ups by bracket look like this:

Ready vs Oak Hill
Newark Cath vs Bellaire (best game of the first round)
Valley vs Columbus Academy
Centerburg vs Monroe Central

I think Bellaire and N.C has played twice before, with each team winning at home.

I do not look for them to meet in the first round, as I believe things will change by then.

Who do you see in which spots 1-8?

More likely that Ridgewood looses to Sandy Valley than to Newcomerstown.

Bishop Ready Silver Knights will lose to Hartley
Lucasville Valley falls to Wheelersburg
Centerburg wins out

If I am correct on this, I think Centerburg has a chance to end (1) Harley (2)

Newark Catholic will once again fall to Granville
Bellaire falls to rival Martin's Ferry

Fort Frye, I think wins out, with the big win coming over Caldwell

Monroe Central, I think they win out

Academy has a great chance to win out and get big points from Bexley
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Oak Hill would have to win out. They would pick up big points for beating Symmes Valley.
If Ironton loses out like I think this could be the nail that closes the coffin

Ridgewood might be in there if they win out and lighting strikes a few times

If this holds true I think 3-8 will be much different then it is now

I really like your Academy over Bexley thought, because I really think that's a game they will win to get in.

Ridgewood has never lost to Sandy Valley since they have been in the same league and played every year. That goes all the way back to 2001 I believe. They also have not lost to Newcomerstown since 2001. Not saying it will not happen this year, but I still would consider Ridgewood the favorite in both those games.

I agree that it now comes down to 10 teams for 8 spots. Top 5 will be in by Week 8, Ready, Valley, Centerburg, Bellaire, and Newark Catholic.

Spots 6-8 will go down to the wire.

Bellaire would be my sleeper in this region no doubt.

If this holds true I think 3-8 will be much different then it is now
1. Ready loses to Hartley-Valley loses to Burg-Centerburg wins out:

Barring a bunch of Valley's defeated opponents falling flat on their faces, it will still finish 1. Ready 2. Valley 3. Centerburg. I still have a 10-0 Centerburg almost a full point behind a 9-1 Valley.

2. NC loses to Granville - Bellaire loses to Martins Ferry

Bellaire would end up around 18.6 points and would be behind a 10-0 Centerburg but ahead of a 9-1 Centerburg. Newark Catholic would be around 14.95 and them and a 9-1 Oak Hill team would be real tight.

So, my prediction look like this:

Centerburg wins out - Ferry beats Bellaire - NC loses to Granville - Oak Hill loses to Ironton

1. Ready
2. Valley
3. Centerburg
4. Bellaire
5. Newark Catholic
6. Monroe Central
7. Academy
8. Fort Frye

If Oak Hill wins out, they could pass an 8-2 Newark Catholic team. If Fort Frye, Academy, or Ridgewood lose they would be out if the others continue to win.

I can type up a ton of difference scenarios, so if anyone wants to post one, I will use the numbers I have here to give a prediction a shot.

Grove would be around 12.05 if they run the table.

They would pass Ridgewood if they lose.
They would pass Oak Hill if they lose to Ironton AND Symmes Valley.
They would be ahead of a 6-4 Crooksville.
They would pass Fort Frye if they lose to Caldwell.
They would pass a 6-4 Academy team.

If Grove wins out and get a few teams to lose, they have a shot. They have to win out and hope for some help.
