I am no where near a "river fan" but I can guarantee that River will not be near as bad as Frontier and that without Lang, River is the better team and even with Lang it should be a close game.

Chandler Lang gives Fort Frye speed on defense. At MLB he swarms to the football going for his 4th straight 100 tackle season. In the some of scrimmages I've seen on rollouts lanes that Lang would hit for scores his football speed is special.I think he hits a few special plays for the 20-14 win.

I do think he will realize quickly that he can't just throw it up to his super fast brother Spencer anymore. FF lacks a vertical threat.

QB is the only position on the field that I see FF being really superior to River at. Is that enough?? River has several vertical threats, Forts secondary better be on thier horses Friday night.

Ok it's also your qbs 1st start... Also who is Pilots QB and what grade? Also Fort Frye will have a good line and LB Core.

Sophomore Joe Flannery will start. Pilots start 3 senior linebackers & 3 senior lineman on D so don't know if I can give you the advantage there.

Well from reading this post and the PVC post I've decided the following things:
1. The Jorris kid may be the best two sport athlete to ever come through southeastern Ohio, I just hope he stays healthy so I can say I watched a big time athlete play in the weak PVC.
2. Both these teams are garbage because mc has the best athletes this side of the Mason-Dixon Line.
3. FF has Lang.
4. River has everyone else.
Conclusion: mc will win state, ff has no deep threats and river has the far superior front 7, river 21 FF 7. MC 49 river/FF 0

Lights on the visitors side still off. Cadets are alternating qbs, but it probably worked better in practice than it has so far tonight. Momentum turned on a bad long snap by River. Pilots score on a nicely executed 2 minute offense.
