It's nice that the Tomcats have a good warm-up game before they head to Wahama.

I saw on the news that wahama is working on their lights for the Trimble game. The coach is going to have a remote in his pocket. So, dont be surprised to see a blackout if the tomcats get a lead. :122245

Trimble by 30, watch what happens to Athens in the Jamboree, Cats could and should win the State this year.

Buckeyes need to step up and win this game! 6-4 against Trimble is a losing record to most buckeyes (I'm sure the coaches feel the same way). Time to step up your game Bucks regardless of what Trimble has coming back. I hope it only puts a bigger target on the 'Cats back! Good luck Buckeyes!

Athens and Trimble usually only play one half in the jamboree game and it is normally a one score affair either way with neither team doing much of anything flashy and I'd say this year won't be much different. As for Trimble over Nelsonville by 30.....has that happened in the modern era (the last 25-30 years)? I fully expect Trimble to have a spectacular year but beating N-Y by 30 would be stunning! In the last 10 games between the two, Trimble is 4-6 (not bad against N-Y teams) but Trimble didn't score 30 pts. in any of the games and the margin of victory for Trimble has wasn't over 7 pts. in any of their wins. Again, I am not in any way trying to take anything away from how good Trimble is or could be this season, I just don't see the game being more than 2 scores apart.

*2012 Trimble 21 N-Y 14
2011 Trimble 6 N-Y 42
2010 Trimble 6 N-Y 14
2009 Trimble 6 N-Y 7
2008 Trimble 13 N-Y 41
*2007 Trimble 7 N-Y 6
2006 Trimble 0 N-Y 35
*2005 Trimble 27 N-Y 21
*2004 Trimble 19 N-Y 13
2003 Trimble 18 N-Y 21

No kidding. This game wasn't even a blip on the radar in the 90's.

The historic game on the NY schedule this year will be Logan. If NY defeats Logan, it will be the first time in school history that NY has ever defeated Logan 3 years in a row.

The most passionate game on the NY schedule this year will be Athens, which is clearly the top rivalry game for each school. No matter the odds, the Buckeyes will want to try and avenge the loss from last year.
