Trimble would be making history with that score... what's the largest margin of victory in a Tomcat win? Don't think it's over 9
Re: Nelsonville-York @ Trimble Sat Aug 31st (wk1)
Its been awhile since the Tomcats have beaten NY by more than 1 score. Usually when the cats pull off the victory it is a very tight game.55Buckeyes98 wrote:Trimble would be making history with that score... what's the largest margin of victory in a Tomcat win? Don't think it's over 9
However, 1980 the Cats beat NY 41-0 and 1985 They won 41-6.
Since 2000 the Cats have beat NY in 2001 14-6, 2004 19-13, 2005 27-21 OT, 2007 7-6, 2012 21-14.
I say the cats win in 2013. Will history repeat itself and be a tight game. Probably

Cats will win...I'm not sure about NY'S defense against Trimbles O. NY is going to struggle offensively this year...how well they do this season will depend on how well their D plays.

With Jon Stevens and Tanner Koons up front getting the rush on and Downs and Jenkins at the corner spot with Kish back at free safety the worthless nuts will be lucky to get 5 passing yards!!

Some people need to get their meds updated. This will be a battle as always. Nobody is blowing anybody out.

I would have to agree. I'd be shocked if it were more than a two or three (at the most) score game in either direction.ny92 wrote:Some people need to get their meds updated. This will be a battle as always. Nobody is blowing anybody out.

Yeah, the cats will roll in this one. The kids know it and the coaches do. They are concentrating on beating Wahama so they can go undefeated. This one is already in the books for the cats. :122249

ummm I am not going to say it will be a blow out but I can say Cats will roll on by the Buckeyes. Every year I keep hearing how great they are. Come on people they have to not have a good year. Geesh...

Re: Nelsonville-York @ Trimble Sat Aug 31st (wk1)
This game has so much smack talk and so much trash being said about both teams. The bucks will not lay down and let trimble just take a victory....But I believe the Bucks will not allow trimble to break out like they did last year with Stanley and now I hear all this about Jenkins yes Jenkins is a nice kid and player but Bucks will contain them both with there D I look for a long hard fought game and no blow out but may the best team win on Saturday night....Good luck to both teams all the young men know each other from both schools wich makes it more exciting....Go Bucks

Went to the Fairfield Christian Trimble scrimmage today. I left when they took the starters out and Trimble was up 6 TDs to zip, Cats looked good both ways, D looked real strong lead by Jon Stevens
Re: Nelsonville-York @ Trimble Sat Aug 31st (wk1)
Well after seeing both ny and trimble scrimmage i'm still going with trimble but my a little more than i first thought

Fairfield Christian is WEAK this year so I wouldn't be going off that scrimmage NY put it all over them in the 7 on 7
Re: Nelsonville-York @ Trimble Sat Aug 31st (wk1)
Can't compare the scrimages fairfield christian and new lex aren't even close to being on the same level.
