Good news Floyd ... and thanks for the warning - I'm sure they're gonna want to put out an A.P.B for a purple hippo running loose in Franklin County ... :)

I love Scarlet and Gray, almost as much as I love Maroon and White. Seriously, that is great news, P.

... thanks everyone for the thoughts/prayers it feels sooooooooo good to be back in the Land of the Purple ... I could feel my spirits go up a notch as soon as I crossed the Lancaster-Dixon Line - the basketball energy force is strong in Southern/Southeastern Ohio ...

... as far as how I'm doing , I'm very sore internally BUT at least all of the issues that I had that kept me from being released from the James are seemingly resolved - now it is time to rest and heal ... 6-8 weeks of recovery time , I have surgeon/oncologist followups throughout the month of July (5 appointments) to go with my CT scan on July 22nd - hoping for a good month of reports so I can start this coming school year/football season/basketball season relatively healthy ...

... again I thank you all - you folks ARE the best

... thank you bman - I will definitely be in your neck of the woods come hoops season, last season was too short for me as I didn't get to see half a season of hoops! have all my fingers crossed and they'll stay crossed for good results this month so I can be "free to move about" Southern/Southeast and the "Northwest territories" of Ohio come December onward LOL ...

pfloyd, I rarely get on here in the summer, but read about your recent bump in the road. Please know you and Jenny, and your entire family are in my thoughts and prayers. Get well Buddy, can't wait to talk some hoops with you this fall.

'Fair weathered fans' are the worst.

Drag yourself away from your pool for an hour or two - and go check out some summer league games, Ty ... we need more Vikings info.

Ty Webb - hope you are getting in lots of golf this summer! thank you for your thoughts/prayers , we're hanging in there! I'm home, doing what the docs tell me to do - that's all I can do ... have had a couple of bad nights but I'm working through it as best I can - you know I will battle every step of the way, I won't go easily - Cancer sucks ...
