Any thoughts on this one?

Southern has been a regular in the regionals the last few years and Valley won a District title last season. I know that the Indians threw their ace (Will Howard) in the semis so I would guess Junior Nate Arnett will get the call on the mound. How about for the Tornadoes?

They had that 10-inning marathon game vs Fairfield Saturday ... used two of their best to get through it ... gonna be interesting to see if they can get 7 more out of them.

Kind of a 1 and 1a really ... neither one is really better than the other ... but when Pape pitches (the one who started) the Tornadoes defense is a little better with Ramthun (who pitched the last 3) behind the plate and Hunter Johnson in center ... when Ramthun pitches, the kid in center has to catch (and he has a ton of speed in the outfield) and Pape is only used as a DH and won't play the field.
