Congratulations to WhiteOak. They came into hostile territory underrated and won. Their pitcher had a great performance! The team played good defense!

To my faithful ND - play and coach hard and do not underestimate an opponent. Losing is part of the game - it happens to all of us. It takes a TEAM to win aND TEAM to lose.

True character is most evident after a loss. Win with class and lose with class.
This year is over. Time to move forward - be it in softball next year or for those seniors -- the next chapter in your life.

To pain25: sounds like you were one of ND’s regular season victims! Sorry about your luck. Move on!
In regards to the ND coach: I have known him for several years now. Top notch guy and coach.
In regards to pre and regular season hype: You would have to be stupid to not to realize the talent they had. It wasn’t just ND doing the talking.
Unfortunately things don’t always work out the way you think they should.
As a coach you make decisions based on what you have seen all year. Every decision is calculated risk.
Sometimes it just doesn’t work the way you hoped it would.
I say Congratulations to ND!
You had a great season that unexpectedly ended early.

For JMS not bashing the players. They do have a good group of girls I'm just talking about there arrogant coaches they have. For them walking into meetings with there sun glasses on and there chest puffed out acting like there poop don't stink. All can say is they got what they deserved.

ND did have a great season and beat some quality teams. They brought home another SOC I Championship.
WhiteOak had a very good pitcher who will be something to contend with your a couple more years. I believe ND learned something from this game.

Pain - a little advice would be for you to focus on the task at hand. Good coaches would focus on the substance of what an opposing coach says or does. Anything else takes your energy away from the priorities and makes you sound like a drama queen.

To dirt_cinders

I never once said I was a coach just stating the facts. Tired of all these wanna be coaches thinking there something and there not. I hope that they have learned there lesson for years to come but I know that they haven't but that just how arrogant they are. And about drama queen there's nothing drama about me but yes I'm a queen.

Pain - I know the coaches well. The head coach has one of the most positive attitudes I have seen. He is a motivator and the girls like and respect him.
He has the character traits we want our children to see and mimic. Win or lose you want your children around good people.

We just have differences of opinions and that is fine. My point is that most people that are comfortable with themselves see no need to waste time on downgrading people and trying to create drama out of something so trvial.
