Congrats to Sam Elliott of East High School. He will be receiving a football scholarship to Kentucky Christian.

What sports can I receive a scholarship for?
You can only receive a scholarship for football, since that sport participates in the NAIA. All of our other sports participate in the NCCAA, which doesn’t allow us to scholarship them.

Thank you Crabb's brother. Yes, football can give scholarships. Of course, not everyone is on a full scholarship, but a lot of football scholarship money is awarded. Sammy Elliott did receive scholarship money to play football.
