Re: Top Ten SE Basketball Programs in last five years
I would like to see the numbers for Chillicothe, Logan Elm, Chesapeake, Vinton County, Zane Trace, Oak Hill, and Beaver Eastern. Right now, looks like my Streaks would be in the top 5. (leaders in four categories and averaging 19 wins a season)
Re: Top Ten SE Basketball Programs in last five years
I would like to see Hitchbone post some Chillicothe numbers...take this last basketball season out and they would be 1 or 2 easily..3 including this year....2008 D2 State Champs tho!

Re: Top Ten SE Basketball Programs in last five years
Thanks Trojandave,
so everything was correct other than overall record of 77-40.
bvmv4life,
The State Championship for Chillicothe was in the '07-'08 season. which is actually six seasons ago.

Re: Top Ten SE Basketball Programs in last five years
For Oak Hill, 2008-13, this is pretty close, but not entirely accurate
2008: 21-3, Sectional Champs, District Champs, Regional Runner-up
2009: 25-2, Conference Champs, Sectional Champs, District Champs,Regional Champs, State Champs
2010: 20-1, Conference Champs Lost 1st round of sectionals to Wheelersburg
2011: 14-7 (15-6?) Lost in sectionals to Ironton
2012: 13-8 (14-7) Lost in sectionals to Ironton
2013: 22-4? Sectional Champs, District Champs, Regional-Runner up
So, That's a record of 115-26 or 117-25 since 2008. Plus 3 sectional championships, 3 district championships, two regional runner-ups, a regional cl championship, and a state championship. Plus, just two conference championships. The conference has predominately been controlled by Wheelersburg. So, any other team that wins the conference seems as if it's an anomaly. I may have added one extra season in there....Even if you were to take away the 2008 season, Oak Hill would still have a record of 94-20, which is impressive within itself. And, the years of 2011 and 2012 may have higher records for the wins and less for the losses.
2008: 21-3, Sectional Champs, District Champs, Regional Runner-up
2009: 25-2, Conference Champs, Sectional Champs, District Champs,Regional Champs, State Champs
2010: 20-1, Conference Champs Lost 1st round of sectionals to Wheelersburg
2011: 14-7 (15-6?) Lost in sectionals to Ironton
2012: 13-8 (14-7) Lost in sectionals to Ironton
2013: 22-4? Sectional Champs, District Champs, Regional-Runner up
