THURSDAY 4/4 - SCORES & SCHEDULE
Re: THURSDAY 4/4 - SCORES & SCHEDULE
Jackson @ Waverly
This should be a good game, Jackson has been playing some good softball in the last few games. They gave up a tough 2-1 loss to Wellston but still managed to play a great game. Kacee Jenkins has pitched well but tonight I think I would rest her for the rest of league. Let Strawser or Hughes pitch and save Kacee for games that count towards winning the league. As far as defensively I'm not sure if you could ask for a better defensive effort from Jackson. Pitching is strong, we have a good athletes on base especially 1st and 3rd, and our outfield isn't playing too bad for their age. After a crucial injury to Spohn last night she'll be back in the lineup tonight and ready to play. Only thing we need to work on is batting, if we can score some runs this team would be solid. The girl's need to relax, have fun, and just play Jackson Ironladies softball. All of this stuff comes natural to these girls. They know each other like the back of their hand. Play as a team, and win this game. As simple as that. Good luck tonight ladies!

Wheelersburg- 3
Zane Trace-1
final
The lady pirates are strong this year. Geno was a great pitcher and the burg girls hit her pretty good. Nice job by Newsome on the mound and has a great defense behind her. The freshman ladies are players Reyes, Salyers and Cunningham all had big hits tonight. Thats the way to start off the season. Big game friday vs Waverly Keep it up girls.............Burg is 2-0

Yeah we have. Good win by Waverly...they flat out played better and earned the win. Good Luck to Waverly tomorrow against Burg. Hopefully Hughes' slowball won't affect you tomorrow.
Spohn, Strawser, Parks and Kacee Jenkins hit the ball well. Had too many defensive issues. Not sure how many runs were earned.

Chillicothe is for real this year.
That score surprises me.

"For real" until Jackson rolls into town and kicks their cans tomorrow night. Chillicothe is soft but better than last year.Xtoxxviii wrote:WowCutekid wrote:Chillicothe 12

Maybe its just me but if you make a committment to play on a team you should be there no matter what for practice and for games. The Nelsonville boys played last night even though it was spring break. The girls on that softball team should have been there to honor their committment they made to play.
