Marietta 6-2 after a 2-0 grind it out kind of win against warren. Tigers did not hit the ball like they did Saturday and made some mistakes out in the field that need to be cut down but found a way to win it.

Jackson Ironmen get back on track with a win over Alexander last night moving to 6-2 overall. Freshman Austin Leach with his second varsity pitching win in as many outings. Entire line-up raked at the plate last night offensively. Ironmen host the defending SEOAL league champs Gallia Academy tonight in what looks to be a great game. I assume we will face Bailey on the hill for GA and look forward to the challenge...he is a great competitor and Jackson will counter with Abrams I presume or possibly Stanley or Sexton?? Look forward to a good game against the rival Blue Devils.

Big SEOAl Week 4 for everyone coming up. Jackson has Portsmouth tonight, Gallia Academy on Weds and Warren on Friday. Look forward to making the trip to Gallipolis on Wednesday to see if the Ironman can figure out a way to generate some baserunners and runs against Bailey and the Blue Devils. Rumor has it the Bailey voodoo doll is out and they are sticking pins in the arm in order to jinx his breaking ball that has proven very successful at keeping the bats very very quiet. Look forward to the game that should decide if the Ironmen can share a league title.

Never mind the Weds matchup to share a league title we just dropped the game tonight to Portsmouth 2-1.

I think the records I have are accurate - but keeping track of those Saturday double-headers can be difficult ... if any are wrong - please post the correct record ... updated after Monday games April 22nd.
