2013 Waverly Summer Soccer League

For the 3rd consecutive year Waverly will be hosting a summer league for high school players and teams interested in getting some meaningful touches in before the season begins. The league will run from June to mid July and teams will play 2 games per evening. We will play 8v8 and games will be at the Pike County YMCA this year.

Start getting your teams together and passing the word around. Flyers and Registration forms will be passed out in the the coming weeks.

We have had over 8 teams participate during each of the past 2 seasons and it has been a huge success.

8v8 Summer League (7+keeper)
-Games will run June 6- July 11
-2 games per team every Thursday at the Pike County YMCA
-Games are 40 minutes long
-All players boys and girls eligible for high school soccer in the fall are allowed to participate
-Rosters can be a combination of schools
-First 12 teams registered will be in the league

Registration fee: $200\team

Last week to get in your registrations.
So far we have 7 teams registered with at least 2 more verbals.
We would love to have some more teams or some individuals who we can make into a team. Once again, this is a great opportunity to get prepared for the season. You can call or email Coach Williamson and turn in your registration during the first day of the league to get registered.

Congrats to all of the teams that participated in this year's league. There were a lot of tightly contested matches and everyone involved got in some serious competition that will prepare them for the upcoming season. Most importantly we made it through the league without any serious injuries and everyone will be good to go on opening day!
